OUR ACTIONS
Our mobile actions are transforming public spaces into a vital portal of playful expression, creativity, and togetherness. Our aim is to share circus with a variety of audiences with different needs, backgrounds and potentials. We welcome everyone to join in a colorful journey of self-expression and co-creation. Our participatory interaction invites various target groups for a dialogue where creative language of circus becomes a powerful transformation in the public space: streets, parks, festivals, demonstrations and social institutions are the scenario of our adventure. Through our circus art, we establish a safe environment which stimulates joint expression, social connection and feeling of self-value.

OUR MISSION
We believe that solidarity and creativity are essential to navigate in an uncertain and complex world, changing at a more rapid speed than ever before. Within this transformation, our learning process as individuals and as a collective is a path to grow towards true happiness and peaceful togetherness. It demands us to take a holistic view, which acknowledges the cognitive, social, physical, spiritual and emotional qualities of human nature, and how they interact and complement each other in a multi-faceted interdependency. We are now able to draw on findings from psychology, neuroscience and evolutionary biology describing the benefits of creative learning. This insight offers a new vision for a society built around our fundamental capacity of altruism and cooperation when we feel inspired, valued and integrated. Our mission is to co-create experiences where we can flourish our true nature in a honest and joyful expression of our live energy. We understand this as an open door to move towards happiness and fullfilment – this is the ground for the transformation of our world today.

Circus Space Pirates is made up of all those who enter and engage. Those who pass by and glance over their shoulder, those who come to play and learn, and those who give their energy as artists, pedagogues, animators, activists, volunteers. The circus family harbours a melting pot for all different cultures, experiences and backgrounds. The glue that binds us is that we are what we do! Trusting and growing together, respecting, caring for and inspiring others.
